FAQ
Answers to our most common questions.
How Do I Know If I Am Pregnant?
Many women experience pregnancy symptoms during their first trimester, but some women have no symptoms.
Common pregnancy symptoms include:
- Missed period
- Fatigue
- Tender, swollen breasts
- Nausea with or without vomiting
- Mood swings
How Soon Can I Get a Pregnancy Test?
We can test for pregnancy as soon as the first day after your missed period. At Elevate Women’s Center, we offer no-cost pregnancy tests that are 99% accurate.
Do I Need an ultrasound before an abortion?
If you receive a positive pregnancy test, you still don’t have all the answers needed to protect your health. An ultrasound will provide vital information during the decision-making process, helping you weigh your options.
This scan will determine whether your pregnancy is progressing, how far along you are, and where the pregnancy is located. You need this information when considering abortion to identify your next steps and seek further medical treatment as needed.
Elevate Women’s Center offers ultrasounds on a limited basis due to high demand. Call us at (479) 487-2456 today for more information and to learn our eligibility criteria.
Can I receive an ultrasound to check on my pregnancy?
At our center, ultrasounds are offered as part of the pre-abortion screening process for women who are considering abortion. We do not provide ultrasounds solely for general monitoring purposes.
If you suspect you are pregnant, visit us for lab-quality pregnancy testing. We can also discuss your options so you can make an informed decision.
